I have the voyager and I have about 1 year left in my contract can I still get the droid when it comes out? If so about how much would it cost?

   Yes you can still purchase this phone even in the middle of a contract. Since you will not be getting a new contract, it will cost at least $400.00, but when you do purchase it you can activate it by simply calling *223 and selecting option “3″.

   Go to the store and see what they can do for you. You may be eligible for a new 2 year upgrade if you have been in your contract one year. If you haven’t been in the plan over a year, you may be able to upgrade through the lost, stolen, damaged 1 year upgrade program they have (you have to pay the one year price for the phone (which I heard is 269)) If you want it on Friday, I would go talk to them earlier in the week, to see what they can do, so that on Friday, you can go in knowing what you are doing . (they may be a bit busy).
