My Android Phone News .com

I heard from someone that you have to get the internet in order to use the android market. I also heard that if your from T-Mobile (if you dont have the g1 unlocked) you can acess the android market. What do i need if I want to use the android market on my g1? And if the g1 needs the internet to use the android market, is WiFi acceptable?

   With the G1 you have to have the internet.
   BUT…
   The phone won’t even function if you do not have their internet package, which is 25-35$ a month.
   You don’t have to be connected to Wi-Fi for it to work, you can connect to the internet anywhere you have service with the 3g network.
   but you gotta have their internet package

   1. Yes you need the internet as that’s where it get the programs form
   2. Yes wi-fi will work fine
